Maybe I'm not supposed to keep them in the freezer at all times unless in dishwasher. But my mugs looked well and worked right...for a while.
The I got to see, touch, and play with the re-freezable gel-like matter in the inner chambers of the mug. Right after crack than split form down the length of each much. I like the thought of these so much, I'm willing to take the risk again.
This time, only putting the mugs in the freezer prior to using them. However I'd prefer they'd design these things so they can stay frozen for much much longer periods of time, before exploding.

I have had frezzer cups in the past but this cup is wonderful. It keeps your beverage (soda, beer, ice tea) cold for hours, or until your done drinking it. The other cups had liquid inside and once that melted (which happened quickly especially in the summer) you had to refreeze the cup to keep your beverage cold. This cup with the gel stays frozen for a long time. I would highly recommend this mug to anyone that wants to keep their beverage cold.

Received this mug for Christmas, and loved it until a large crack developed and made it worthless. Mug was never placed in dishwasher so it must be a flaw in the design. Judging by the other reviews its not uncommon.

I bought the Spartan ones, not because I'm for Michigan, but I'm a Greek and a Spartan so there you go!!!!!! lol. They can crack, Try not to drop them too many times, but don't put your drink in the freezer and forget it. for 5-10 min I guess its ok but they do last long. and they don't take too long to get cold if you use a room temperature coke can !!!!!!!!! By the time I took a shower, and came out (about 10 min) it was icy cold. I'm buying the Giants to give my friends since they are for the giants. I'm not into football or any team, so if your a New Yorker, please don't get mad that I bought the Michigan ones for myself. I only bought it because it has the Spartan symbol. It should have been blue, not Green. Greek colors are blue!!!!!! xaxaxaxa

Was a Xmas gift for my brother but when it arrived I expected to see the helmet of the NEW YORK GIANTS on the cup instead it had NY letters major disappointment.
